Mid Century Motif Cushion Cover

Sometimes I trip upon some absolute gold in my textile sourcing adventures, like this finished retro needlework piece that has to be over 40 years old! As a crafter I can see the amount of hours that have gone into these stitches and I'm so happy to give it a life as a finished object. 

This cushion cover is 38cm x 38cm excluding fringe, just like its sibling, and it's been trimmed with a lush upholstery fringing with a crushed velvet back. It comes un-stuffed for more affordable postage and fits a 40cm or 45cm cushion insert (go bigger if you want more squish!)

All the materials used in this cushion have been salvaged except for the thread and the fringing. (Old thread is unreliable and I had the fringe in my stash for a long time!)

Wool yarn, polyester, rayon, cotton fabric and trim.

Spot clean small marks with cold water and gentle detergent. Cold hand wash when cushion cover needs a thorough clean. Dry flat on a towel. Do not iron, machine wash, soak or tumble dry.
