Red Button Craft Medal

I created this one-off brooch as an example for an activity I led at The Sewing Lair, and all the elements in it came from my late grandma's sewing stash! The vintage folk art style ribbon has been floating around my stash for a long time and I'm so glad I could use it for this piece. All the buttons and beads are from her huge odd bits and pieces collection. She must have clipped the spare buttons off every garment that ever came into her life!
